CONVOCATORIA

Jucumari (Tremarctos ornatus) is the indigenous name of the beautiful Spectacled Bear, native of the mountains of South America. The Jucumari is in serious danger of extinction. So this contest intends not only to stimulate the creation of a magnificent Origami model, but also to encourage the protection of the Jucumari and help organizations that are fighting to save this bear from imminent demise.
Bernie Peyton will be the special guest of this contest, participating as an honorary judge, in recognition of his excellence in folding but also for his several years of work to protect the Jucumari. (http://eco-origami.com/bernie/Home.html)
